Services, Fees and Office Visit Information

Your first visit to Balance Acupuncture is special. We evaluate your complaint(s) as thoroughly as possible and develop a complete treatment plan. At the end of this first treatment, we evaluate your response to acupuncture and from that are able to plan how often and how long you will need to continue treatment. We may also use this time to educate you on how to maintain the improvements that you see during the course of treatment.

This first visit will take from 1-2 hours depending on the complexity of your complaint(s). A first visit generally costs about $150 and subsequent visits are $90 per visit, these fees may also vary according to complexity. Subsequent visits generally run from 30-60 minutes. We do offer a 20% discount for payment at time of service. If you are on a limited income, please call about our financial hardship rates.

If you have insurance, most insurance plans are covered. We are on the in-network provider panels for Aetna, Premera, Regence, United Healthcare and FirstChoice Networks. Please note that being a provider on these networks does not guarantee coverage. You should check with your insurance plan to make sure you have coverage for acupuncture. If you contact us prior to your first visit, we can check on your acupuncture benefits for you.

We also offer consultation for Chinese Herbal Medicine. These appointments may run 1-2 hours for a first visit and 30-45 minutes for subsequent visits. A first time visit for herbal consultation is $80 and subsequent follow-up visits are $50 per visit.
